The paint had hardened across Blue’s fur, causing discomfort and skin irritation. It was clear the kitten had been intentionally painted and then left behind. Her rescuers immediately brought her to a veterinarian, where a long and gentle cleaning process began.
“We used a mix of safe cleansers and oils to loosen the paint,” they explained. “A lot of her fur fell out during the process, but she never once lashed out—just winced quietly through the pain.”
Despite the trauma, Blue remained calm and trusting. She was fed with a syringe at first, too weak to eat on her own. But just days later, she began to regain strength and started eating and drinking by herself.
As the paint came off, Blue’s real colors were revealed: a soft, beautiful coat of white and gray. Her bright eyes and sweet nature quickly won the hearts of her caretakers.
“Blue is truly special,” her rescuer shared. “She’s smart, gentle, and growing stronger every day.”
Now enjoying sunny naps, daily meals, and lots of affection, Blue is on the road to full recovery. She’s still waiting for the perfect adopter to give her the love and safety she deserves.
